Quality hands for Texas Hold’em
Here is a list of hands that are more likely to make you a winner at Texas Hold’em. These hands are to be used and focused with low limit games and they are not always the best hands. Let’s first explain the terminology: When you see the following: AA, KK, QQ, JJ AK, etc, this means card combinations of different suites. When you see the card combinations as follows: AKs, JJs, etc, this means that the card combinations are of different suites.
All of the following combinations are premium hands to have and if you look at your hand after it has been dealt and you see these, you will be extremely pleased: AA, KK, QQ, AK, AKs, and JJ. These are known as big pairs when playing Hold’em poker and you can keep rising when you have these before the flop.
The following combinations are also a nice hand to have if you are lucky enough: AQ, AQs, AJs, KQs, JTs and KJs. You will probably play with these hands, even if someone does happen to raise before you do. If you are playing a low payout or a low level game of Texas Hold’em and you have these hands you could be in for big money. There are so many people playing the lower level games that if you have those combinations, you are likely to be the only one.
If you do have say an AQ or AK, you may occasionally lose to someone who is playing quite tight with either an AA or a KK. Don’t worry too much about losing to those hands and don’t dwell on it if you do.
There are lots of different combinations to use when playing Texas Hold’em. A lot of what you get is down to luck; the rest however, is up to you as a player!
